Unique Capabilities
The NanoSpin Yarn Electrospinning Machine features dual nozzles with either matching or opposing electrical charges aimed at a rotatable collector that can be angled and shaped for optimal yarn formation.
The collector angle is adjustable from +45° to -45°, allowing for precise control of fiber alignment and yarn tension. The collector itself can be configured in two shapes: funnel or pipe, each suited for different yarn formation strategies.
As the nanofibers are electrospun and drawn toward the collector, a winding unit synchronously pulls the fibers to form continuous yarn — suitable for various applications including medical sutures. Real-time monitoring is made possible through an integrated camera system, ensuring yarn quality during production.
🔁 Additionally, the machine is convertible into a standard two-pump electrospinning system for conventional nanofiber fabrication.
